
Art Exhibit
AIHEC Art Exhibition and Competition Rules:

All artwork shall be completed by college students attending an AIHEC-affiliated TCU Institution.

All artists must be registered no later than February 20, 2026.

A representative may accompany artwork from the artists’ sponsoring college.

A living artist shall have produced all entries within the last two (2) years.

A selected panel will judge all entries.
-
Student attendees will have a chance to vote for a special ‘Peoples’ Choice’ favorite.

Entries shall remain physically on-site for the duration of the competition to be eligible for awards.

The conference will not be responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. Security will be provided while the art is on display.

Students are responsible for the transportation of their artwork to the conference and the removal and transportation of the artwork at the end of the conference.

Video, light, and other extreme mixed-media art creations are strongly encouraged for art exhibitions and competition entry.

Art pieces with particularly extra detailed instructions will be curated and set up by submitting art students or by their official College representative.

Division and Category – There is no limit on the number of categories entered, however, there is a limit of one (1) entry per category, per person. All art pieces shall be entered in the category below:

Division 1 – Traditional (50% or more of one or more of the following)

Categories: Bead, Leather, Quilt, Textiles, Dimensional

Division 2 – Contemporary (50% or more of one or more of the following)

​Categories: Drawing, Painting, Digital Design/Digital Art, Photography, Ceramics/Pottery, Jewelry, Sculpture, Mixed Media
